Privacy Policy
We'll update this as the product grows; material changes will be dated here.
This policy covers this website, hushmeetings.com. It explains the small amount of information the site collects when you request beta access, and what we do — and don't do — with it. The last section covers the Hush app itself, which is built so that your meetings never reach us at all.
What we collect
The only information this site collects is what you type into the beta-request form and a little context about how you arrived:
- Your name and email address, so we can reply to you about beta access.
- Your message— whatever you tell us about your team and how you'd use Hush.
- Basic referral context: the page or link that sent you here and any campaign tags (UTM parameters) in the URL. We use this only to understand which channels reach people who care about on-device privacy. It's held in your browser's session storage while you're on the site and sent along with your form submission.
That's the whole list. The site sets no tracking cookies, runs no third-party analytics, and loads no advertising or social-media trackers. If you never submit the form, we never receive anything about you.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your beta request and to keep a record of who has asked for access. We don't use your details for newsletters, marketing blasts, or anything you didn't ask for.
Where it goes
When you submit the form, your details are sent to our own contact system, operated by dD Creative, the studio behind Hush. They are stored in our database and trigger an email notification to us through a transactional email provider so we can follow up. We do not post your information anywhere public.
We don't sell or share it
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. The only parties that ever touch it are the infrastructure providers that host our database and deliver our email — and only so the form can function.
How long we keep it
We keep beta requests until you ask us to delete yours, or until they're no longer needed to run the beta. Want your information removed? Email us and we'll delete it — see below.
Contact us
For anything about this policy, or to have your information deleted, reach us through the contact form on the homepage. We read every message.
The Hush app: your meetings never reach us
Everything above is about the website. The Hush app is a different story on purpose: it records, transcribes, labels speakers, analyzes, and searches your meetings entirely on your Mac. Your audio, transcripts, summaries, and search index stay on your device — they are never uploaded to us or anyone else. We designed it that way for privacy-sensitive work, which also means we couldn't hand over, sell, or lose your meeting data even if we were asked to: we never have it in the first place. The app makes no telemetry, analytics, or crash-reporting calls; its only optional network activity is a one-time model download and an update check, both of which can be turned off for offline or air-gapped use.
